Malta has just welcomed over 1200 participants from 21 different countries that are participating in this year’s edition of the World Medical & Health Games. There is a variety of sports being organised and Badminton is one of them. Badminton is being played at the National Sports School in Pembroke and has attracted a good number of players.

The games are being played in 5 categories, Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles and will be played on a span of three days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Malta is also being represented by Tiziana Mifsud, Kenneth Vella and David Attard.

It is beautiful to see this great number of participants from different countries, speaking different languages, playing our beautiful International game. We wish goodluck to all participants especially to the Maltese athletes who come from the medical profession to do well and enjoy the games!
