Yesterday evening Badminton Malta’s Executive Committee has approved a new umpiring qualification criteria for umpires to be locally qualified and to be part of the BM Officials Team.
The new qualification will require a pass in a basic written assessment, having knowledge of the game’s rules and regulations and having the ability to control a game. A number of games with both with experienced umpires and also umpiring practice during local competitions.
