Annual Delegates Meeting elects new Board of Directors
After the Members’ Forum held on Friday as part of the Badminton Europe’s ADM weekend in Dubrovnik, it was the day of the actual Annual Delegates Meeting. A general annual meeting held to discuss, decide and elect new positions in the Badminton Europe Board of Directors and members of commissions. Badminton Malta was represented by its President, Chris Spiteri.
Andrey Antropov and João Matos were re-elected as vice-Presidents of the Confederation. Robbert de Kock from Switzerland and Jean-Marc Serfaty from France were reconfirmed in their position in the Board of Directors while Renna Unt from Estonia was elected for the first time.
It was an emotional farewell for Ritchie Campbell, who has been serving Badminton Europe as Director of Finance since 2003. Mike Robinson from England has now taken his place as Director of Finance.

6th BEC Gala Dinner awards another success!
What a night to remember! A perfectly organised evening hosted by our friends, the Croatian Badminton Federation who have prepared a beautifully set up Gala Dinner having ample time to network and discuss different aspects of our local badminton setup while watching Badminton Europe celebrating European successes.
To top the evening off with a great celebration, adding Badminton legend Peter Gade in the Badminton Europe Hall of Fame. Although unfortunately all the stars were preparing for more important sporting commitments coming up all delegates were very happy to be part of this celebration.
We look forward for more opportunities to meet our fellow federation representatives to discuss, find opportunities to work together and celebrate each other’s effort to continue working hard to get badminton as one of the top European Sports.
