Badminton will be joining other sports to have a specialised sport academy with a collaboration with SportMalta! Badminton Malta and SportMalta worked closely to strengthen the Badminton Malta Academy and to become part of the SportMalta #OnTheMove Academies. What does this mean for our athletes and badminton in Malta? A more professionally set up Academy with more training sessions, more investment in coaching, continuous development, both during the Summer & Winter Academies while joining this big beautiful community of Sports in Malta.

The current Badminton Malta academy will end this month and will start its new format in summer to have its first Badminton Summer Academy from July till September! This development will be happening as part of a long-term plan to attract new youngsters to the beautiful game of Badminton and also to give the opportunity to every committed, disciplined athlete to reach their full potential. For only €60, all athletes will have 2 sessions of 3 hrs each for 3 months and we will also include all the equipment needed to practice badminton!

The academy will be formed by having 4 groups of Athletes: Foundation, Junior, Cadets and Elite and will be focusing to assist players to reach the highest level in local Badminton. The Badminton Academy will be now accepting applications by the current athletes that form part of the Academy and newcomers for the summer sessions.
